SCS designed and has implemented this solution to various distributors that solves this problem. These distributors collect CD's by various means. They arrive on pallets and need to be sorted, counted and recorded. SCS allows this to happen via barcode readers and our cart picking system. When the arriving contents are all recorded SCS then formats the data that is sent to the on-line retailer for inclusion into the on-line inventory. When an order is received, SCS collects the order from the retailer and produces a ship instruction for the distributor and notifies the retailer that the order is on its way.
